FAQ
Common Questions
What happens during a psychiatric evaluation?
Your provider will review your medical and mental health history, current symptoms, medications, family history, and life circumstances. The session typically lasts 60โ90 minutes. You will leave with a clear picture of your diagnosis (if applicable) and a recommended treatment plan.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed. You can book directly online and be seen within 48 hours in most cases.
Will I definitely be prescribed medication?
Not necessarily. A psychiatric evaluation results in a recommendation โ which may include medication, therapy, lifestyle changes, or a combination. You are always part of the decision.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. We work with most major insurance plans through Headway and Grow Therapy. You can verify your coverage when booking.
